GeoNord AS is the owner of the RigelMap application ("Service"). This privacy policy informs you about our principles regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of your personal data when using our Service, as well as your rights related to this data.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. All operations related to the processing of personal data comply with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.

We may ask you to provide us with certain personal data that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personal Data includes:
RigelMap supports optional integration with external GNSS/LiDAR hardware, including the i100 receiver ("Advanced device integration"). This integration is optional and is only used if you choose to connect and use the i100 feature.
If you enable and use the i100 feature, the application may generate and manage non-media surveying project files related to LiDAR capture (for example, scan projects, point-cloud outputs, and related metadata) stored on your device for processing and export.
To support the i100 workflow, RigelMap may request Android "All files access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). This permission is requested only when you choose to use the i100 feature and is used only to create, read, and manage i100 project folders and non-media scan files required by the i100 SDK's fixed directory structure. If you do not use the i100 feature, you do not need to enable this access.
You can enable or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings. If revoked, the i100 feature may not function correctly, but other app functionality can still be used.
