List of changes and improvements:

Importer - support for CSV

With the RigelMap 2.5.4 update, we've provided support for CSV files in the "Importer" plugin.
With this new feature, user can import CSV data directly into RigelMap, as well as preview data in the attribute table.
Imported data must have specified group (existing or new), new layer name and specified X,Y coordinate columns (as shown in third image in the gallery).
Note that the file extent is being calculated only after specifying X,Y coordinates columns!

Importer - support for KOF

With the RigelMap 2.5.4 update, we've provided support for KOF files in the "Importer" plugin.
This improvement allows user to import KOF files which contain features with (or without) temacodes.
In the window user can select which layers, geometry types have to be imported, as well as to which layer these features are to be imported.
You can change the target code to the one used in the project layer, or leave/enter 0 - then the objects will be assigned to the basic layer.

Importer - support for GML

With the RigelMap 2.5.4 update, we've provided support for GML files in the "Importer" plugin.
This improvement allows user to import GML features directly to RigelMap.
Furthermore, the user can select which layers and types of geometry are meant to be imported into RigelMap. An example of using the GML Importer is in the gallery.

DXF Importer - Support for DIM and scaling

This feature allows the user to select scale units for imported DXF file.
As it is shown in the gallery, by default the scale units are set to be meters, and in this example, the extent is out of maximum project extent.
By changing the scale units, we can see that our extent is correct, and the file can be imported into RigelMap.

Importer - filtered CRS based on file extent

With the RigelMap 2.5.4 version, we provided improvement in showing extent in the "Importer" plugin.
From now on, only available coordinate systems are going to be displayed in the selectmenu.

Attribute table - filter by "eye" icon

This new feature allows the user to filter objects on the map via the "eye" icon.
Note that only objects that are visible on the map will be present in the print report.

Attribute table - contextmenu on row

With the RigelMap 2.5.4 version, we provided support for contextmenu in attribute table.
From now on, by clicking right mouse button, the menu with available tools/options will pop out, just as the one in the map (when we right-click on the objects in map).

Edit user settings in application (desktop)

With the RigelMap 2.5.4 update, the user now has the ability to edit account settings without having to leave the project. These settings are the same as in the main portal.
Note that we recommend to refresh the page after changes are made, so the application works correctly.

Edit project settings in application (desktop)

With the RigelMap 2.5.4 update, the user (client admin/department admin) now has the ability to edit project settings without having to leave the project.
Note that we recommend to refresh the page after changes are made, so the application works correctly.

LandXML Export

This new feature allows the user to export data to Land XML file. There are three ways to approach this:
  • By right clicking on the group, and selecting "Export data" (every layer of this group will be included in the export)
  • By right clicking on the selected layer, and selecting "Export layer to"
  • By right clicking on the selected objects on map, and selecting "Export to Land XML"
Then the exporter window will appear with options to choose.
Note that the content of window will differ depending on the selected option.

New tab "Files" - upload files to project

This new tab allows the user to upload files for this project.
The files tree structure can be modified just like layer tree.
Furthermore the user can open the file in new tab, download the file on the device, as well as rename the file and remove it.
There is also added a filter field, in which we can search for certain file.

Other bug fixes and improvements
- Fixed bug when trying to register NVDB object without measured geometry.
- Added possibility to enter NVDB project without added favourite NVDB object type.
