When adding photos to objects or conducting photo documentation, the user has the option to compress photos directly in the mobile app.
Imported photos or images in JPEG format can be compressed from within the mobile app.
When adding a photo to RigelMap, a dialog box will appear with the option to select the compression level and remember the selection as default.
If the user selects Remember my choice, the selected compression will be set as the default photo compression level, and subsequent photos will be automatically compressed before being sent.
The default photo compression applies to the specific user and is active within that user's session.
Available compression levels:
High (25% of the file size),
Medium (50% of the file size),
Low (75% of the file size),
No Compression (100% of the file size)
The file size depends on the compression level before compression
The default compression level can be changed from the GIS portal settings!
