3D Visualization and Volume Calculation

  • Volume Calculation - added functionality for volume calculation using the "model-to-model" method and presenting volume results in m3.
    • Introduced a new TIN layer type, which represents terrain surfaces using a triangular mesh.
    • Added the ability to generate volume calculation reports, showing the difference between excavation and embankment volumes.
  • 3D Visualization - a new engine for viewing 3D data has been introduced, working directly in the web browser. This allows users to explore 3D models without needing additional software installation.

Surface stakeout (TIN Layer)

Users can now utilize a new TIN layer type, making surface stakeout more precise. The application compares the user's position, obtained from the GNSS receiver, with the 3D terrain model, providing information about the height difference, known as "delta height". Users can set a height tolerance in the options, for example, at 3 cm, allowing for instant notification when the height exceeds the set threshold, thus facilitating more advanced staking operations.

Other changes and improvements

  • Added support for SOSI file format when importing data.
  • Improved synchronization of unsaved data upon entering a project. The message about unsaved data includes:
    • Layer name (with symbol)
    • Number of objects
    • Table with objects
  • Added EXIF data support when importing photos into a project in RigelMap.
  • Enabled triangulation for the DXF layer.
  • Introduced the ability to change the order of custom fields for layers when creating or editing layer.
  • Enhanced mobile app functionality by ensuring geoid correction loading even in the absence of an internet connection.
